Our Schools
CC Communications supports our local school district.
Churchill County School District (CCSD) services 4300 students in seven schools in Fallon. There is one early learning center, four elementary schools, one junior high school (grades 7-8) and one comprehensive high school (grades 9-12).
CCSD takes pride in its students and staff and the services they provide. The Board of Trustees works to provide all students access to the best instructional practices. Licensed and classified staff are involved in ongoing professional development and take a great deal of pride in their service to students and their families.
Our schools welcome parent and community member participation. The Welcome Center is located at Northside Early Learning Center where visitors and potential students and families receive helpful information. Each school is student centered and focused on improving student performance. Churchill County schools are clean and well-maintained. We are forunate to have up-to-date technology equipment and services at each school.
Each school provides counseling services for students and families. In addition to rigorous core subjects of math, language, reading, social studies and science, students benefit from enrichment courses such as music, art and physical education. The District works with agencies such as the Fallon Youth Club, Churchill County Coalition, Churchill County, the City of Fallon, Nave Air Station Fallon, Fallon Paiute Shoshone Tribe and others to enhance its educational services to our community.
