Email Setup for iPhone/Android Phones
If you are setting up your email on a mobile device or tablet, it is recommended that you use our SMTP2 outgoing mail server for the most reliable results. Please send an email request for SMTP2 setup to a CC Communications technician with your email address and we will set it up and respond via email with your updated information.
From Settings, select Mail, Contacts, Calendars or Accounts & Passwords (depending on the version of your device).
Enter your Name, Email, Password, and Description. Tap Next.
Select IMAP or POP. If you’re not sure whether to choose IMAP or POP, view our helpful infographic that explains the difference between the two protocols.
Under Incoming Mail Server and Outgoing Mail Server, insert the following settings.
Tap Save. Your new email account is now configured!
Open the Email app. Choose your email provider or select Add Other Account.
Enter your email address and password.
Select POP3 or IMAP (this example will use an IMAP account). If you’re not sure whether to choose POP3 or IMAP, view our helpful infographic that explains the difference between the two protocols.
Under Incoming Server, enter the following settings.
Under Outgoing Server, enter the following settings. Tap Next.
Update your email sync settings (optional).
Update your email name (optional).
Tap Done. Your new email account is now configured!
